You decide how you want to travel to Les Arcs: car, train or plane. Once you are in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, there are various transport options for getting around the resort (funicular, bus, taxi...).
Funicular schedule: every 20mn from 7am to 21pm.
Take the A43 motorway to Albertville, then the dual carriageway to Moûtiers and the RN 90 to Bourg-Saint-Maurice. Allow 20 to 30 minutes to get to the various sites in Les Arcs.
Travelling to Bourg Saint Maurice:
- TGV from Paris (4hrs 40mins) and Lille (5hrs 30mins)
- Sleeper trains from major French cities
- Eurostar train from London (8hrs) and Thalys train from Amsterdam and Brussels (9hrs).
For getting to Les Arcs from Bourg-Saint-Maurice international rail station, the choice is yours:
- The funicular railway will take you to Arc 1600 in under 10 minutes (Arc 1600: departure point for free shuttle buses to Arc 1800, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000)
