Entrance route witch join Arc 2000 to Arc 1600 by a a track in forest.

Start from Arc 1800 outside the Hotel du Golf. Go to the bottom of the Transarc telecabin. 100m below the bottom of the telecabin, take the single-track footpath below the entrance to the les Villards car park.
Cross the road and continue along the forest footpath and then take the single-track footpath to the village of Montvenix. At the end, follow the tarmac road for 200m and after the first hairpin take the track to the right.
After two villages, get back to the funicular via the white water centre which is hosting the World Canoe and Kayak Championships on the Isere. Cross the bridge and take the vehicle track alongside the Isere to the funicular (3km).
