Our shops

Many shopkeepers have not waited for us before developing a more responsible service or shopping experience.
Changing to straws, goblets and cutlery that are 100% bio-degradable or made from maize starch, containers made of recycled cardboard…
Pushing short food supply chains and local producers, choosing organic or small-scale production, sorting and recycling …

Some good examples in no particular order:

Our accommodation providers

Our accommodation providers are not to be outdone, every one of them has made commitments according to their ability, as borne out by:

The Club Med Les Arcs Panorama has been awarded the BRREM Good certificate for its construction in 2018, in recognition of its efforts in the field of energy performance.

It also holds the Green Globe label, one of the most exemplary in terms of responsible tourism. The Club also works with sick and disadvantaged children’s associations and organises gatherings in Arc 1600 (« Petits Princes » (Little Princes), « Ma chance à moi aussi » (my luck too) and « eux aussi » (them too).

The Mercure in Arc 1800 subscribes to the Accor group’s Planète 21 charter which promises eco-responsible actions on a variety of themes.

Pierre et Vacances Premium has also held the « Clef Verte » (green key) label for several years. The aim of this certification is to raise client awareness, limit water use, optimise energy production and waste management.

Our events

Organisers of events in les Arcs have the same sense of responsibility and are already working on a programme or powerful actions:

The festival is launching its Green Lab, a programme dedicated to the theme of eco-responsibility: films, discussions and a special prize. An opportunity for everyone working in the film industry to come together and to move forward together to develop the theme against the background of the European film industry so that this theme is not only dealt with in news coverage but in actual films as well.

The POW (Protect our Winters) association will be attending to run a masterclass on the theme of global warming. An opportunity to mix skiing, music and good habits.

Our wish is to create an experience village at an altitude or more than 2000m with, on the programme, goodies made from recycled plastic, DIY workshops, sporting experiences to refocus on oneself…
