On 15 and 16 July 2017 THE mountain bike race in les Arcs will be taking place: The Arcadienne!

Through the trees, over rocky sectors and open country with slopes...the Arcadienne leaves nobody indifferent and, moreover, enables mountain bike fans to enjoy some great riding thrills!

As every year, this famous competition will cater not only for adults but also for kids (- 13) who will follow a simplified course but one that is every bit as much fun!

Onsite registration for non licensees with the opportunity to license the day by being provided with a medical certificate of non-cons indications to mountain biking competition.

Program:

Friday 14 :
  > 6pm to 8pm : Registration and removal of the plates (Coupole - Arc 1600)

Saturday 15 :
Arcadienne Kids
  > 1:30pm: Recognition
  > 4pm: 2 rounds
  > 5pm: Podium

Sunday 16 :
Juniors and Seniors
  > 10am : 1st round - Reverse order of the plates by category
  > 2pm : 2nd round - Reverse order of the Scratch classification round
  > 5pm : Podium (Place du soleil)

As every year, this famous competition will cater not only for adults but also for kids who will follow a simplified course but one that is every bit as much fun!

Friday 28 

      > Walk the course

Saturday 29

      > Collect numbers – Chalet ESF → 8.30 a.m. to 3.00 p.m.

      > Kids Arcadienne:

              - Walk the course: 9.30 a.m. → 12.30 p.m.
              - 1st leg: 1.00 p.m.
              - 2nd leg: 3.00 p.m.
              - Podium: 4.00 p.m.

      > Rhone Alpes:

              - Walk the course: 9.30 a.m. → 5.00 p.m.

Sunday 30

      > Opens: 8.30 a.m.

      > Closes: 5.00 p.m.

              - Warm up: 8.30 → 9.30 a.m.
              - 1st leg: 10.00 a.m.
              - 2ng leg: 2.00 p.m.
              - Podium: 5.00 p.m. 

Arcadienne 2014

On 30 and 31 August 2014, come and watch THE downhill mountain bike race in les Arcs: the Arcadienne!

On the Cachette downhill mountain bike trail in Arc 1600 the Arcadienne will be as much fun for children as for adults!

 

On the agenda:

 

Saturday 30 August: The Kids turn for 8 to 12-year-olds!
Poussins, pupilles and benjamins – accredited or not – will indulge in the pleasures of downhill mountain biking and will be able to try out the sport on the bottom of the downhill trail.

 

Entries: from 8.30 a.m. in the ESF Chalet in Arc 1600

Start of the 1st group: 1.00 p.m.

Start of the 2nd group: 3.00 p.m.

Prize giving: Approximately 4.00 p.m. and an evening concert in the Place du Soleil

NB: Non accredited children will be asked to take out a day permit (issued against a medical certificate)


Sunday 31 August: Over to the adults! (aged 13 and above in the « minimes »categories)
The region’s best athletes will be there to put on a show and to gain their best classifications in view of the Rhône-Alpes Regional Cup and the Savoie Departmental Championships – quite a programme!

Entries: from 8.30 a.m. in the ESF Chalet ESF in Arc 1600

Start of the 1st group: 10.00 a.m.

Start of the 2nd group: 2.00 p.m.

Prize giving: Approximately 3.00 a.m.
