The second running of the Enduro 2, this alpine endurance race without reconnaissance in teams of 2, will be held from 25 to 27 June 2016.
Starting and finishing in pairs, at the same time and riding together throughout the whole stage is the challenge facing the 300 riders entered (150 teams max) in this 3 day competition which comprises a 100km course and 12 000m of vertical descent over 15 «special» timed stages over all types of terrain.
From the artificial trails in the Bike Park to the "natural" technical tracks of the Alps, the riders will be riding “as seen”, without advance reconnaissance.
From fun mountain bike trails to the magnificent «single tracks» running from les Arcs’ peaks down to the Bourg-Saint-Maurice Valley via sumptuous forests, the les Arcs/ Peisey-Vallandry area is the ideal venue for this type of event!
> This race is technically difficult and is restricted to very good riders with a lot of experience, the level of the special events being equivalent to an EWS, in as seen riding without reconnaissance.
> The courses will be reached using the resort’s ski lifts, which is rather unusual for an endurance race.
