Choosing more responsible holidays is now possible.

Here are some good alternatives and sound attitudes for reducing your impact on our mountains. Needless to say, what you do at home works well here too. The idea is to share our « made in Les Arcs » tips with you.

Eco-responsible holidays  – Skiing

  RESPONSIBLE SKIING

+  Don’t forget to keep your lift pass card from season to season. You will be able to reuse it by booking your pass on line using the number shown on the card or by producing it in one of our sales areas. Every sales area also has a bin for recycling your passes if you are no longer going to use them.

+  Respect the local wildlife and remember to take a bag with you to collect your rubbish or picnic leftovers.

+  Some areas at the edge of the ski area are part of the Hauts de Villaroger Nature Reserve or the Vanoise Parks and are protected. Steps have been taken to protect certain species such as the black grouse. For this reason, please check carefully before going off-piste.

 Et l'été ?

And in the summer?

As in winter, stay on the tracks and paths and don’t venture into the protected areas. Don’t pick flowers or plants and be unobtrusive around the wildlife. Even though they can be very greedy, don’t feed the marmots. We have also set out our 10 commandements for walkers so they can get the most out of our mountains and preserve them at the same time.
