WHAT SORT OF SKIER ARE YOU?

By completing this quiz, you can find some recommendations for your mountain holiday based on your skier profile.

What colour piste do you prefer?

 Green: slowly but surely.
 Black: the Robert Blanc piste, with a 64% slope. Nerves of steel!
  Multicoloured:   Like the lettering on the Snowpark, reviewed by Lucas Beaufort.

 

Your lunchtime menu consists of:

 A ham & Beaufort sandwich, propped up on the plateforme de Comborcière.
 A good tartiflette, with a salad and a café gourmand. Ideally on a terrace facing Mont-Blanc
  Some energy bars for the chairlift and making up for it in the evening with a good dish of crozets.

Your dress-code :

 The essential: GoPro helmet. The rest doesn’t matter much.
 Trousers and jacket from "Picture". With their technical products made from re-cycled materials, you’re at the cutting edge.
 Shirt, woollen jersey, inner jacket, a pair of long-johns and a one-piece suit.
Not forgetting: scarf, woolly hat, mittens, sunglasses. The Michelin man, that’s you!

For you, holidays in the snow are about unwinding, tartiflette and a card game by the fire! As for the skiing, everything’s in the style: skis in a V, you’ll be spotted from miles away on the pistes.

Our recommendation: to get the best out of your holiday, take the Villards chairlift in Arc 1800 to try the Cabanes piste. Between two bends on the green run, you can admire the panoramic view of Mont-Blanc, take a few photos and proudly tell your friends «I did it!».
Then get back to your group for a moment to unwind in the Arc 1800 swimming pool. And to the delight of the greediest, end the day in style, a crêpe and a mulled wine will thrill the foodies.

On the slopes since childhood, you can’t wait for the holidays in the snow. Your day has to be optimised between ski lessons for the children and covering the whole of the ski area.

Our recommendation: Go to the top of the Aiguille Rouge at the beginning of the day for a breath of fresh air and a run down the famous Aiguille Rouge piste all the way to Villaroger. 7km downhill between glacier, high altitude piste then turns through the forest. You’ll enjoy the show.

Having picked up your children from their ski lesson, go to the Wood Bear Café in Arc 1950 for a healthy and tasty tea!

Your playground: the snowpark and untouched spaces reached only by the strength of your calves. In your backpack we’ll find all the equipment to film your prowess.

Our recommendation: You know the ski area and its hidden faces like the back of your hand. However, have you thought about getting yourself some proper safety equipment?

At the end of the day, dive into some après-ski fun on the slopes at the Arpette or the Folie Douce.
