Les Arcs Trail Running Race : "Le Trail des Arcs"

On your marks, get set, GO! Get your shoes ready for the latest edition of "Le Trail des Les Arcs" trail running race as you run across the hills facing the Mont Blanc. Starting in Arc 1600 on 8th of august 2024 discover the different areas of Les Arcs through this fun trail running race.

Descriptif

Departing from Arc 1600, this trail will take you along the footpaths along the various sites of Les Arcs over these 17 km and 804 metres of positive vertical drop.

From the forest of the Arc 1600 canal path, through the Arc 2000 valley and its vast expanses of mountain pastures, you'll climb to the summit of the Col du Grand Renard at the foot of the Aiguille Grive, then switch to the side of Arc 1800 with its breathtaking views over the Haute Tarentaise valley and return to Arc 1600 via a magnificent forest path.

So don't keep your eyes glued to your running shoes, but look up and discover the pleasure of running in the mountains!

The Trail des Arcs is open to cadets and above!

There's a big new feature this year: the trail is open to children. There's a 1.5km course with a 58-metre vertical drop for U23 and U23 categories. For the minimes, a course of 4.25km and 160 metres of ascent awaits them. The start and finish will be in Les Arcs 1600.


THE PROGRAMME
8am-9am: Final on-site registration and number collection - Place du Soleil, Arc 1600

9.30am: Start of the adult race from Place du Soleil to Arc 1600

11am: Time barrier at Arc 2000 departure TSD Arcabulle

Finish: Arc 1600

12h30 : Prize-giving ceremony for the adult race - Arc 1600

MANDATORY: Medical certificate stating fitness to run in competition less than one year old OR FFA, Pass running, FFTRI, FFPM, FFCO or FIDAL licence.
