There are those who book their ski holiday a year in advance. And then there are the others, who wake up in mid-February and realize that the slopes will close in less than three months #panic! But procrastinators, fear not: it’s not too late to hit the slopes this winter! So dig up your traditional WhatsApp group “Ski, party & cheese with the gang” and let us give you all our tips for organizing a last-minute ski holiday with your friends.

Ok, you're late booking your ski holiday. That’s no reason to choose a random week in a panic! First thing to do: open the winter events calendar (or rather: the spring calendar). It’s packed with very cool dates that are worth waiting a few more days – or, on the contrary, bringing your holiday forward a week if you can.
For example:
If you love electro music, you absolutely must come to Les Arcs from 21 to 28 March 2026, the week when the Electronic Peak Festival is taking place (on Wednesday 25, Thursday 26, and Friday 27 March 2026 to be precise).
If you’re into snowboarding, definitely book the week from 4 to 11 April 2026 (and make sure to arrive early on Saturday 4 or the day before!), because on the weekend of 4/5 April, it’s the snowboarding event The John Doe, organized by the Snowboard Club of Les Arcs (really cool people who live for snowboarding): freestyle, derby, concerts, parties…
For your party girl or bro, you can’t miss La Folie Douce closing party from 3 to 5 April. On the program: Nina Kraviz to kick off, Folamour who will heat up the Saturday, and to finish, the in-house label Folie Douce Records will take over for a 100% local finale. It’s a mini festival in the mountains, to be experienced in the unique atmosphere of La Folie Douce.
If you're into slacklining and highlining, then you'll need to come somewhere between Thursday 9 and Sunday 12 April 2026, during Les Arcs Winter Festislack (a slackline festival, as you may have guessed – try saying its name three times in a row!).
Finally, if you’re not into music, snowboarding, or aerial artists (you’re lying, right?), there’s always the great deal Le Printemps des Arcs that you can’t say no to: from €88/person/week from 4 to 25 April 2026. You can even enjoy many activities thanks to the “1 activity purchased = 1 free activity” offer on ski lessons, tobogganing, tree climbing, etc…
If you had told us you wanted to organize a last-minute ski holiday during the Christmas or February holidays, we would have said the project was ambitious. In March/April, however, it’s totally doable! More choice, more great-value package deals, more special offers on accommodation, ski passes and activities, and more holidaymakers like you booking at the last minute. The hardest part won’t be finding an apartment, but choosing among all the tempting options. You’ll even find real hidden gems still available, with swimming pools and surprisingly affordable given the level of comfort they offer!
Short on time? Don’t like searching? Afraid of getting lost in a jungle of open tabs all at once? Perfect timing – we’ve done the work for you and listed all the end-of-season special deals. A bit old school, we admit, but far more reliable than handing this high-level mission over to ChatGPT!

In March/April, the days are longer... and after-ski events are much more frequent! Sunny lounge chairs, DJ sets on every floor: the temptation to stop for a drink on the terrace and tap your ski boots with perfect strangers until the night falls is strong. And to repeat the whole thing throughout the week.
Our advice: leave room for the unexpected in your holiday schedule, and only book the bare minimum (for example: the Aiguille Rouge Tyrolienne, which is usually sold out, or that 5-star rated restaurant that’s really calling your name). For everything else, let yourself be carried away by the vibe in the resort and on the slopes (you probably know how to do that!).

Has your usual group of friends expanded in recent months? Has someone paired up with a newbie skier or snowboarder? Don’t leave these “new additions” behind who weren’t born with your natural talent for gliding sports!
In March/April, the snow is generally softer under the skis, and the temperatures are often higher than in the middle of January. Perfect for strapping on skis for the first time (without worrying about your tailbone or sensitive cold extremities). Feel free to also offer them a few ski lessons, for the benefit of the group but especially for theirs.
Plus, opportunities to hang out with regulars and beginners are much more frequent than in the middle of winter: terrace lunches last longer thanks to the rising temperatures, events are open to everyone, regardless of ski level (see above "Choose a week with a cool event"), après-ski parties require no skills (except for knowing how to dance in ski boots), and there's plenty to do off the slopes (a nice spa, a zip line ride Tyrolienne, a toboggan run...).

Go on! GO book your traditional ski week with your friends! After April 25, 2026, it will be too late...
