The Les Arcs / Peisey-Vallandry Mountain Area becomes a smoke-free space

Since the ministerial decree came into force on 27 June 2025, smoking is prohibited across the entire Les Arcs / Peisey-Vallandry area. This ban applies to all parts of the ski area, without exception.
It is therefore now forbidden to smoke on all alpine, cross-country and ski-touring pistes. The ban also applies to fun areas, lift queues and the lifts themselves, regardless of type (chairlift, drag lift, gondola, etc.). This measure aims to protect everyone’s health and reduce pollution caused by cigarette butts.
