In the Upper Tarentaise, there is an academy dedicated to freestyle and freeride skiing for the youngest. It is the Freeski Academy. Founded by Laurent Niol and Xavier Troubat in 2014, it provides training in both winter and summer and the chance to enter such benchmark competitions as the Freeride World Qualifier.

The aim of  the Freeski academy is to become the international benchmark in Freeskiing and Freeride. Moreover, it is organising the next French Freestyle Skiing Championships, Les Arcs LaunchPad.

Made up of 4 groups and 41 children and teenagers, the Freeski Academy looks after:

The Minis aged from 8 to 10

The Kids aged from 11 to 13

The Freestyle group: aged from 15 to 18

Amongst these new talents are included two brilliant young athletes from our Team Les Arcs : Hugo Hoff  and Ugo Trouat.

Freeski Academy outings are accompanied by cameramen, photographers and drone pilots.

Find out a bit more about them in pictures or on their website.
