Opening of the new 4 star La Cachette Hotel

A hallmark of architecture and design

The original spirit conceived by Charlotte Perriand has certainly influenced the thinking of the designers from the Patriarche studio. Favouring views, bringing nature indoors and offering a design combining authenticity, simplicity and functionality has been the challenge facing the decorators.

Notably, you will find several « hideaways », referencing the hotel’s historic name, very stylish lighting with a series of the very well-known little Perriand wall lights, originally designed for the apartments in les Arcs and on the floor the real IGN (UK= OS) map of the area.

A responsible approach, which has been the focus of the project since the beginning, is demonstrated by the total renovation of an hotel rather than the creation of new tourist beds, all while ensuring the thermic renovation of the building.

A decor combining design, second hand articles and local savoir-faire: Great care was taken over the choice of furnishings to blend new furniture and reproductions of 1970’s items, sourced from the vintage specialist Selency, while working with such local business as the Arpin textile mill.

Providing residents with alternatives:

  «Save the planet» light switches in the bedrooms,
  Eliminating plastic bottles,
  Seasonal produce with short supply chains favoured for the catering,
  Eco-responsible packaging for takeaways.
