At the top of the Vallandry telecabin, you will find more than 30 species of mountain flora and fauna in a unique museum space. Entry is free to skiers and walkers in both winter and summer and the museum is a place of discovery and awareness developed in close collaboration with the Vanoise National Park and the Peisey-Vallandry area. There is a rest and catering area where you can also taste delicious local produce.

The Mountain Animal Museum is an integral part of an ethical global development plan. It falls within the framework of our sustainable development approach on a mountain area scale with:

– solar panels installed on the roof of the Vallandry top station
– a heat recovery system to regulate the temperature in the Museum
– rainwater recovered and redistributed to meet the building’s needs in non-drinking water.
