In summer as in winter, the Vallandry relaxation area offers a welcoming place to settle in, enjoy a picnic or take a sheltered break. The outdoor terrace offers a unique viewpoint over Mont Blanc and the entire valley. In winter, it is a starting point for many slopes, including the famous Pitchouns slope. In summer, it is also the gateway to hikes up to the summits, as well as the starting point for mountain bike trails leading down to Vallandry.

At the top of the Vallandry gondola, discover more than 30 species of mountain fauna and flora in a unique museum space. Freely accessible to skiers and pedestrians, in both winter and summer, this museum is a place of discovery and awareness-raising, created in close collaboration with Vanoise National Park and the Peisey-Vallandry area. As a relaxation and dining area, it also offers the chance to enjoy delicious local products.

The Mountain Animal Museum is an integral part of a responsible, comprehensive development project. This project is part of our sustainable development approach across the mountain area, including:

- photovoltaic panels installed on the roof of the Vallandry arrival station
- a heat recovery system to regulate the temperature of the Museum
- rainwater collected and redistributed for the non-drinking water needs of this area
