MAURICETTE CUP

Presentation:

Starting from the Fort de la Plate, on the heights of Bourg Saint Maurice, the Mauricette Cup will bring together 120 international pilots selected from among the best in the world rankings.

The site of Bourg Saint Maurice, and more generally the Tarentaise valley surrounded by all these majestic mountain ranges, has over the years become a benchmark in the world of free flight.

Sunday 2 June: Registration and practice round

Monday 3 June: Round 1

Tuesday 4 June: Round 2

Wednesday 5 June: Round 3, followed by a festive evening

Thursday 6 June: Round 4

Friday 7 June: Round 5 and prize-giving 

Why Mauricette Cup?

Mauricette is the mascot of the annual competition organised by the Parapente Club de Haute Tarentaise. She made her first appearance in 2023 at the French Paragliding Championships held in Bourg Saint Maurice. When a pilot ends his run in a field that is not the intended landing area, he is said to have "taken a wrong turn". And around here, there's a good chance he'll come across a tarine. In Bourg Saint Maurice, she could only be called Mauricette!
