TDS Trail Race - In the Footsteps of the Dukes of Savoie

Refreshment stage of the Trail des Ducs de Savoie, a 145km, 9176m+ nature trail between Courmayeur and Chamonix, following the Grande Randonnée trails of the Mont-Blanc region, the Aosta Valley, the Haute Tarentaise and the Beaufortain.

Get up close and personal with the runners of this legendary TDS trail.
Beautiful, technical, wild, demanding - there's no shortage of adjectives to describe the TDS, which links Val d'Aoste to Savoie, to discover the villages of the Tour du Mont-Blanc and the mountains that surround them. To explore this unique playground is to follow trails where history and mountains, the technicality of the terrain and the friendliness of its inhabitants all come together.

The racers will set off from Courmayeur in Italy at 11:50pm on Monday August 25, starting at the summit of the Col du Petit Saint Bernard. They will then descend to Bourg-Saint-Maurice. They'll need to regain their strength before tackling a terrible 1750 D+ climb!
