When did you start your sport and why? What did you like about it?
I started skiing at a very young age in Les Arcs. It was with the Freeski Academy that I discovered freeriding and fell in love with the feeling of freedom it gave me. What I liked was the adrenaline rush, the creativity involved in choosing a line and the fact that every descent is unique.
Key moments in your career (competitions / films made / sponsors signed)
Over the years, I have been fortunate enough to experience some memorable moments: my first international competitions, my podium finishes in the Freeride World Tour Qualifier, my films of trips with friends (in Japan or with Blank Collective), as well as the trust of brands such as Salomon and Les Arcs, who support me today.
Any anecdotes about you and your sport?
A habit that defines me well: to ensure a run goes smoothly, I always put my left ski on first... even when the spot isn't suitable!
What is your fondest memory of Les Arcs?
A run at Aiguille Rouge, on a powdery morning, alone with my mates from the Freeski Academy. The kind of moment that reminds you why you do this sport.
What is your favourite spot?
The corridors of Combo. There is variety, challenging faces, and always a way to trace a beautiful line.
What is your typical day of skiing like?
A good breakfast, then straight up to enjoy the first tracks. Then, a session with friends looking for the best lines.
If Les Arcs were a film or a piece of music?
In music, it would be raw and energetic rock.
Any memorable falls to share?
A huge competition box, where I ended up with my bum tripling in size after falling onto a double bar. I had to spend the whole journey home lying on my stomach!
Any advice on how to get the most out of Les Arcs?
Set off early, don't just stick to the slopes, and dare to explore the surrounding areas – always safely and in good company, of course. That's where you'll discover the true magic of the resort.
