Imagined by local residents and brought to life collectively, this project was carried out as part of the 2024 municipal participatory budget.

Disc Golf is a frisbee sport, rooted in NATURE and the OUTDOORS.
It is a technical discipline requiring concentration and precision, combining WALKING and THROWING.
The objective, very similar to golf, is to complete a course made up of different holes in as few disc (frisbee) throws as possible.

Game rules

Players start the game at hole no. 1.
One after the other, players throw their disc from the tee area towards the target, marked by a metal basket.
Once all participants have made their first throw, the player farthest from the basket throws again from where their disc has landed. The other players wait behind the thrower.
Each throw may be made with the same disc or a different disc.
The hole is completed when the disc is in the basket.
When all players in the group have finished the hole and recorded their score, they move on to the tee of the next hole.
At the end of the game, each player adds up the scores obtained on all holes to determine their final score.
The winner is the player with the lowest score, meaning the fewest throws.

Equipment

Discs are available at the reception of the aquatic centre during opening hours. You may of course play with your own discs.
