We are offering you this new Marathon with a mountain flavour, with a course designed between the communes of Macôt - La Plagne and Bourg Saint Maurice - Les Arcs. It is aimed at experienced competitors but also at amateur runners, families and people with disabilities.
The course for the Marathon and Marathon relay events forms a loop that starts at the Funicular and follows the greenway towards Villaroger before reaching Bourg Saint Maurice. It will then pass through wooded paths to reach the Villages of Macot-la Plagne. The return journey will take place on the magnificent greenway that runs along the Isère river for 12km before returning to Bourg Saint Maurice. The race takes small tarmac country roads, in a pleasant, green, shady wooded setting. The course is hilly with small hills.
Start and finish of the races will be at the Funicular in Bourg Saint Maurice.
Saturday 14th May 2023 :
15h00 - 19h00: Registration on site until 17h00 (limited to 50 places) / Administrative control / Number collection (all events)
Sunday 15th May 2023 :
6.15am - 8.00am: On-site registration until 7.00am (limited to 10 places) / Administrative control / Number collection (all events)
9.15 am : Start of the Marathon and Marathon Relay in teams of 3
10.30 am : Start of the Half Marathon
11.00 am : Start of the 10 km
14h00 : Start of the children's races 2,8 kms & 1 km
3.30 pm: Prize-giving ceremony
