l'Académie Festival de Musique des Arcs

The theme of the 51st Académie-Festival des Arcs will be :

"Mademoiselle: at the school of Nadia Boulanger", an immense pedagogue who spanned almost the whole of the 20th century, whose teachers included Gabriel Fauré, Louis Vierne, Maurice Ravel and George Enesco, whose friends included Igor Stravinsky and Paul Valéry, and who had over 1000 pupils, including Leonard Bernstein, Philip Glass, Quincy Jones, Astor Piazzolla, Jean Françaix, George Gershwin and Lalo Schfrin...

Great concerts in store, from tango to American minimalism, jazz or film music.

Among the many highlights, the centenary of the death of Gabriel Fauré, a day devoted to the music of Bach, dance with a carte blanche for Benjamin Millepied, a day devoted to French Romantic music with the support of the Palazzetto Bru Zane, cinema, conferences, workshops, issues, debates...

Open-air concerts, concerts for young audiences, concerts in the beautiful baroque churches of the surrounding villages, wine-tasting concerts, film-concerts, featured concerts, Mozart or Schumann monographic concerts, concerts ALL FREE OF CHARGE.
