Les Arcs Trail Running Race

The Trail des Arcs is back on 8 August 2024.

Starting in Arc 1600, this foot race is a loop, on a pedestrian track, linking the different sites in Les Arcs. It is open to everyone from the cadet category upwards, with or without a licence. There will also be a special course for children (from Chicks to Minimes).

THE ADULT ROUTE

A course with several challenges! The total length of the Trail des Arcs is 18 km, with 1000 m of positive difference in altitude and 1000 m of negative difference in altitude. To spice up the competitive spirit of each participant, several classifications will be established on different segments:

- The Prem's: challenge yourself on the first kilometre of the course. Distance: 1 km Elevation gain: 127 m
- The Casse Patte: a dry climb to determine who will be the best climber. Distance: 4.12 km - altitude gain: 400 m - from km 6.18 to km 10.3
- The Infernal Descent: who will be the best at managing this never-ending descent! Distance: 6.92km
- Negative altitude difference: 1000m - from km 11 to finish at km 18

11am: Time barrier at Arc 2000 departure TSD Arcabulle

Finish: Arc 1600

THE KIDS' COURSE

After the adults, it's time for the kids to take on the Kids Trail des Arcs! In the Arc 1600 resort, children, whether beginners or novices, will have the opportunity to test themselves on these trails specially designed for them. Suitable for all levels, these trails will allow young athletes to discover the pleasures of trail running in a safe and friendly environment. It's an ideal opportunity for youngsters to learn about this sport in the great outdoors, while having fun and developing their taste for adventure and physical effort.

13h30: Start of the children's races - Arc 1600

2.15pm: Children's race prize-giving ceremony
