FOLLOWING THE PATH OF THE "TRACE DES DUCS DE SAVOIE" (TDS)

Beautiful, technical, wild, demanding - there's no shortage of adjectives to describe the TDS, which links the Val d'Aoste to Savoie, exploring the villages of the Tour du Mont-Blanc and the mountains that surround them. To explore this unique playground is to follow trails where history and the mountains, the technical nature of the terrain and the friendliness of the local people all come together.

A 145km trail with 9176m of ascent - that's the challenge facing the runners on this not-to-be-missed stage!

Bourg Saint Maurice is an important stage in this race, with the 1st major refreshment point at the college gymnasium in the town centre.  

The first participants will arrive at around 4.30am, and the race will continue until 11am.
