l'Académie Festival de Musique des Arcs

The 52nd edition of the Académie-Festival des Arcs will take place from July 13 to 25. The main theme for this year's edition will be Nature.

Since humans have composed music, Nature has always been a source of inspiration: the moon, the seasons, the sea, birds, rivers, fire, forests, mountains... The list is extensive, with landscapes, animals, or bucolic scenes having inspired timeless masterpieces.

Some highlights for this 52nd edition: firstly, the second edition of our now traditional “Jazz in Les Arcs,” dedicated this year to Duke Ellington, echoing a wonderful tribute concert to Stéphane Grappelli. A change of scene with a concert dedicated to the Waltz, and since we're talking about dance, we're delighted to once again welcome next summer two exceptional dancers in a choreography by Benjamin Millepied, who is now a regular at our festival!

A Bach day, a Chopin recital, conferences, public master classes, various screenings around Glenn Gould or David Oistrakh, carte-blanche events, concerts for children, performances by our approximately 160 trainees, concerts from our vocal department—some of them staged—young talents concerts, open-air or off-site concerts... All concerts are FREE!!!

We look forward to seeing you there in great numbers!
