From 13 to 20 December, the Les Arcs resort becomes the must-attend event for European cinema. A week of screenings, meetings, music and discussions in the heart of the Alps.
2025 Theme: Cinema & Democracy
For its 17th edition, the Festival tackles an essential and topical theme: "CINEMA AND DEMOCRACY: TO THE ARCS, CITIZENS!"
Programme:
- Committed films questioning our times,
- Film debates and highlights with specialists,
- Workshops dedicated to professionals,
- Presentation of the “Move Mountains Award”,
- Talks by Cyril Dion (director of Tomorrow) and Marc Lazar (historian, political life specialist)
This year, Greece, cradle of democracy and land of bold creation, is in the spotlight.

Les Arcs welcomes three major voices of European cinema:
- Isabelle Adjani – Legend of French cinema, revealed in François Truffaut’s The Story of Adèle H., multi-award-winning for Queen Margot, Camille Claudel and Skirt Day.
- Daniel Brühl – International actor acclaimed in Good Bye Lenin!, Inglourious Basterds and the Marvel universe (Captain America: Civil War).
