The Trail des Arcs is back on August 13, 2026.
Starting from Arc 1600, this trail running race follows a loop along pedestrian trails connecting the different sites of Les Arcs. It is open to everyone from the U23 category upwards, whether licensed or not. A specific course will also be available for children (from the U12 to U16 categories).
The Trail des Arcs course covers a total distance of 18 km, with 1,000 m of elevation gain and 1,000 m of elevation loss.
The adult race is limited to 500 participants.
Due to the high temperatures and heatwave alert, the following safety measures have been put in place:
- A minimum of 1.5 L of water is mandatory at the start → this will be checked when collecting race bibs. Without 1.5 L of water, the race bib will not be issued.
- A refreshment station will be available at the 9 km mark.
- Headwear must be worn throughout the race: cap, visor, hat, bucket hat, etc.
- Sunscreen and lightweight clothing are strongly recommended.
- Participants should also be aware of the signs of heat-related illness (dizziness, headaches, nausea, unusual fatigue, etc.). If symptoms occur, they should slow down/stop and immediately inform a member of the organisation or a volunteer.

After the adults, it's time for the kids to take on the Kids Trail des Arcs! At the Arc 1600 resort, children, whether experienced or beginners, will have the opportunity to challenge themselves on trails specially designed for them. Adapted to all levels, these routes allow young athletes to discover the joy of trail running in a safe and friendly environment. It's the perfect opportunity for the youngest participants to get introduced to this outdoor sport while having fun and developing their taste for adventure and physical effort. The number of race numbers is limited to 100 for KIDS races.
