Imagining other desirable futures for the mountains

From Thursday, October 15 to Sunday, October 18, 2026, take part in 4 days of festival events between Bourg Saint Maurice - Les Arcs and our neighbours in Tignes. You will meet more than 50 speakers offering conferences, workshops and walks to reflect, connect, marvel, get inspired and take action for glaciers and the ecosystems that succeed them in mountain regions. Special emphasis will be placed on festive and participatory moments, including theatre, music, screenings and evening events, to raise awareness among as many people as possible through new narrative forms.

We are offering a multidisciplinary programme bringing together mountain stakeholders, artists, thinkers, athletes and scientists around today’s crucial socio-ecological challenges. An intergenerational and festive festival aimed at residents, children, the curious and enthusiasts, in close connection with local associations and economic stakeholders.

A project led by the association Marge Sauvage and the agency AIR coop, in partnership with the municipality of Bourg Saint Maurice - Les Arcs and the municipality of Tignes.
