THE BENCHMARK IN THE WORLD OF TRAIL RUNNING

Created in 2003, the UTMB is the most legendary and prestigious trail running race in the world. 171 km and 10,000 meters of elevation gain to complete a full circuit around Mont Blanc, crossing through Italy, Switzerland, and France. A unique race that has elevated trail running and established itself as an iconic, globally recognized event.

Regardless of the finish time, from less than 20 hours to more than 46 hours, elite runners and thousands of amateurs share the same adventure on the same exceptional course, driven by the breathtaking beauty of the landscapes and a common goal: crossing the finish arch in Chamonix.

More than 2,300 athletes will start from Chamonix, passing through the Chapieux site at night, in a stunning setting on their way to the Aiguille des Glaciers (3,816m) and the Col de la Seigne (2,516m).

The first runners are expected to arrive at the Chapieux around 10:30 PM, with participants continuing to pass through until 5:00 AM on Saturday, August 30.
