Winter Festislack Les Arcs

From 3rd to 6th April 2025

After an innovative edition in the Fond Blanc circus, the Winter Festislack returns to the Deux Têtes site from April 3 to 6, 2025! The Les Arcs resort, which hosts this unique festival mixing skiing and highlining, will this year welcome the "sky surfers" with an unprecedented highline surfing contest. Also on the program: highline demonstrations, slackline initiations, a Ski/Snow & Highline photo contest… We look forward to seeing many of you discover these modern tightrope walkers in the middle of the slopes, facing Mont Blanc!

2025 PROGRAM:

Thursday, April 3:

9 AM - 5 PM - Highline Demonstration - Free and open to all

Location: Les Deux Têtes - Arc 1600, Top of the Mont-Blanc chairlift

Come and watch the tightrope walkers moving through the air all day.

Note: Access via Mont-Blanc chairlift: Ski pass and ski equipment required.

3 PM - 7 PM - Slackline Initiation - Free and open to all

Arc 1600, Place du Soleil

Come and try slacklining, a modern version of tightrope walking that combines focus, fun, and balance!

The initiation is open to everyone, starting from age 3. Free access, come meet us at Place du Soleil to try it for five minutes—or stay for hours if you love it!

3 PM - 7 PM - Artisan Market

Arc 1600, Place du Soleil

A few artisans from the slackline community will be present to showcase their creations, including pottery, juggling toys, climbing apparel, and more.

5:30 PM: Circus performances (acrobatics, juggling) - Free and open to all – Place du Soleil (backup location: La Coupole) Arc 1600

5:30 PM - Circus Show - Free and open to all

Arc 1600, Place du Soleil, backup location at La Coupole

Nico Pires - Haizea

"Haizea"—The Wind. Is it merely an excuse for the diabolo artist to ward off failure, an ally to the tightrope walker facing adversity? One thing is certain: the wind is here… and so is the atmosphere! Let’s embrace it and play with it, lightly and poetically. A 10-minute diabolo act created by Nico Pires, a diabolo performer and balance seeker.

Duo Roll Accro - Verticality Unleashed

Constantly seeking more instability, the Roll Accro duo defies the laws of gravity in every direction. You might witness a fall if you watch closely—unless the acrobats decide otherwise…

6:30 PM - Adventure & Highline Film "Des Équilibres" - Free and open to all

Arc 1600, La Coupole

Film in French with English subtitles.

Highliners take us into their unique and visually extreme practice. From line to line, we transition from confusion to understanding—conveying tangible emotions and palpable physical and mental challenges. Within a team that seems unstoppable, we share the search for balance through imbalance.

Friday, April 4:

9 AM - 5 PM - Highline Demonstration - Free and open to all

Location: Les Deux Têtes - Arc 1600, Top of the Mont-Blanc chairlift
