Skiing with friends

You’ve spent several weeks getting everyone to agree on the dates and destination for your holiday with your mates. Now it’s a done deal, you’ve chosen les Arcs and you’ve made the right choice! With the funiculare and the free shuttle buses between the various parts of the resor you’re free to enjoy the slopes and your evenings. Here’s an ideal programme to follow for a day whatever your ability.

9.30 am – Meet at the col de chal

Meet up at the Col de Chal, the rallying point for the little troop. Lift up your eyes and enjoy the view of the snow-covered peaks. Right, off you go for a crazy run in the Arc Valley.

11.00 am – Aiguille Rouge

After taking the new Varet telecabins, meet at the Aiguille Rouge "bin" to climb to the top of the resort. Once up there, go to the Aiguille Rouge Walkway. A little tip: close your eyes for a few seconds to focus on the silence of nature, then enjoy a breath-taking view. Next, reel off a few turns on the Arandelieres piste and those who don’t feel like it can go down in the telecabin.

12.00 noon – A terrace for a well-earned break

It's time to meet for a relaxing moment on the new terrace of the Aiguille Rouge. You can discover the new café (B.o.B) located at 2700 meters of altitude provides skiers and pedestrians with a unique place for shared moments. It’s also a place to soak up the culinary Savoyard traditions, with revisited traditional dishes highlighting local produce.
