Why come to Les Arcs by train this summer?

Extended timetables with direct trains

This summer, more than ever, the summits are just a short hop away! In response to the growing desire to escape to the mountains, the SNCF is boosting its TGV INOUI service to the Tarentaise valley and making it easier to get to Les Arcs-Bourg Saint Maurice !

Direct, simplified access

From 12th July to 10th August 2025, the SNCF is offering one extra round trip every weekend between Paris and Bourg-Saint-Maurice, adding 5,000 extra seats to make it easier for travellers to reach the mountains.

With these enhanced timetables, there's no need for a car. You can board a TGV in Paris and get off a few hours later in Bourg Saint Maurice, ready to take the funicular straight to Arc 1600!

And to celebrate?
The funicular, which is free for pedestrians and paragliders, runs until 9pm every Saturday.
The free inter-resort shuttle buses are also following suit to drop you off close to your accommodation, without the need for a car.

Details of direct trains:
On Saturdays:
- 2 TGV INOUI Paris <> Bourg-Saint-Maurice (7.46am → 12.50am | 2.48pm → 8.03pm)
- 1 TGV INOUI Bourg-Saint-Maurice <> Paris (2.47am → 7.46pm)
On Sundays:
- 1 TGV INOUI Bourg-Saint-Maurice <> Paris (8.32am → 1.14pm)

Les Arcs: the smart, sustainable choice

Taking the train is not only better for the environment, it's also more comfortable: no traffic jams, no tiredness at the wheel, and more time to enjoy the scenery - what a holiday! Once you arrive in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, just hop on the funicular and you'll be in Les Arcs in less than 10 minutes.
