The heart race

WHAT IS IT ?

The Course du cœur is a running race with the objective of raising awareness of organ donation.

In figures :

+ A 750 km relay race nonstop for 4 days and nights between Paris and les Arcs from 22nd to 26th March 2023.
+ Around 20 teams of 14, including one whole team of competitors who have all had a transplant of some kind (heart, liver, kidney, lungs, bone marrow…)
+ Racing though more than 200 counties with a publicity caravan of more than 100 vehicles.
+ Stages from 10 to 60 km including rollerblade, bike and run, canoe and even carrelay stages.
+ A dedicated medical team of 9 doctors with all the necessary equipment and 28 physiotherapists (all volunteers).
+ A motorbike squadron of 15 Republican Guards and 40 race safety commissioners (volunteers).
+ More than 145 race volunteers

PROGRAM 2024

In the commune of Bourg Saint Maurice Les Arcs :

+  11:30 am: runners arrive in the town hall square, musical atmosphere and aperitif offered

+  4:30 pm: arrival of the runners in Arc 1800 on the lower square of Les Villards, musical atmosphere and hot drinks offered
