RDV at 9:15 am above the Villards bus station, opposite the "Le ptit panier" store in Arc 1800.

Discover the mountain pastures and wooded areas between Arc 1800 and Peisey-Vallandry. These ancient mountain pastures are perfect for discovering and understanding the way of life of mountain dwellers before the creation of ski resorts. The spruce and larch forests are ideal for observing plant and animal life.


For beginners. The physical criterion is : "Be able to get up on your own if you fall in the snow".

Itinerary of 4 km with 200m positive and 200m negative gradient.

Equipment required:

- Hiking shoes or snow boots with laces.

- Ski clothing.

- 20l backpack with 1l water.

Snowshoes and poles provided.

Return by 12.15pm.
