Les Arcs, a car-free resort

While you’re on your sports holiday, you can forget about your car!

The various villages in the resort of Les Arcs will bring you safety and well-being. With no vehicles on the road and no roads to cross, you’ll be a free spirit – skis on your feet in winter and hiking boots in summer – when you roam with your family and friends!

From Tuesday 9 to Thursday 11 December 2025:
Morning: 2 departures at 7:40 and 8:00.
Evening: 2 departures at 16:35 and 16:50.
Details: The 7:40 funicular will be followed by buses to Arc 1950/2000 and Arc 1800. Buses are also available for the 16:50 funicular.

Friday 12 December 2025:
Funicular every hour from 8:00 to 17:00, with an extra departure at 7:40.
Details: For the additional TGV arriving at 19:58 in Bourg Saint Maurice, special shuttle buses are provided.
Departure at 20:15 from the Bourg Saint Maurice bus station:
- Timetable: Shuttle to Arc 1800
- Timetable: Shuttle to Arc 1600, Arc 1950 and Arc 2000

Saturday 14 and 21 February 2026:

Shuttles are provided to reach the 7:15 funicular, connecting with the 7:50 TGV:
- From Arc 1800: Les Villards 6:45, Charvet 6:55
- From Arc 2000: 6:35, Arc 1950 6:40, Club Med 6:53
