Adaptive skiing (handiski) is a discipline that allows everyone to experience the thrill of skiing. Several practices exist: uniski, dual ski, tandem ski with an instructor, or independently using a kartski.
The associations Les Arcs Handiski and Handi’Arcs offer supervised outings for people with physical, mental or sensory disabilities on the Les Arcs / Peisey-Vallandry ski area.

All lifts are adapted for handiski use.
A 50% discount is granted to holders of a Mobility Inclusion Card (CMI) (disability).
If the card indicates “need for assistance”, the accompanying person also benefits from the reduced rate, provided the purchase is made simultaneously for the same offer, duration and validity dates. This pass must be used in the presence of the disabled person.

We recommend checking your equipment and being accompanied on the ski area. In all gondolas, the ski area provides a chair to transfer the skier into the cabin.
TRANSARC STATION: Possibility to store handiski equipment overnight and the wheelchair during the day. Protective cover provided by ADS; bring your own anti-theft lock.
These partner ski schools offer adapted ski lessons and/or handiski experiences depending on your situation. It is strongly recommended to contact them and book your sessions before the season!
Group lessons, private lessons and instructors, for children, teenagers and adults of all levels. Snowshoeing for all levels. During summer: Rafting, Hydro-speed swimming, Tree-top adventure course, Canyoning and Paragliding. Organised activities for groups and seminars during the summer and winter seasons.
In Arc 1800, the Arc Aventures by Evolution 2 ski and adventure school offers ski lessons for children and adults, from beginners to advanced, as well as snowboarding, off-piste, ski touring, telemark and disabled skiing lessons: our ski instructors will accompany you on all your outings. What's more, our group lessons are limited to a maximum of 8 students, ensuring a personalised learning experience.
In addition to ski lessons, enjoy "après-ski" activities throughout the winter, such as snowshoeing, night walks and yooner descents. Ideal for non-skiers or afternoons with family and friends!
In summer, Arc Aventures by Evolution 2 also offers activities that allow you to discover the mountains in a new light, with rafting, canyoning, white water swimming (hydrospeed), tree climbing and paragliding in Arc 1800 and Bourg-Saint-Maurice.
