TARENTAISE ENDURO by Evolution 2

The weekend of 6 to 8 September 2024 will see the first edition of the "Tarentaise Enduro by Evolution 2", a mountain bike enduro race in teams of two. From Tignes to Bourg-Saint-Maurice, on a mountain bike or a muscle bike, Evolution 2 promises to do everything in its power to ensure that participants don't have to manage anything, get the most out of the event and are on time for the aperitifs!

For 3 days, the teams will have to link up descents and climbs in a series of time trials. These timed segments are called special stages. Between each special stage are non-timed links.

After a first day of adventure on the routes of the Haute-Tarentaise, the teams will meet up again in the Bourg Saint Maurice sector at the end of the day on Saturday 7 September and spend their second night in a bivouac.

On Sunday 8 September, they will follow one special stage after another on the trails above Bourg Saint Maurice.

To spice up Sunday, there will be entertainment in Bourg Saint Maurice.

Programme of the event:

Friday 6 September 6pm:

Welcome at the car park in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, then shuttle bus journey to Tignes Les Boisses to make sure you're on time for the welcome drink in the bivouac area!

Saturday 7 September

7am : Breakfast, then transfer to the first special stage for an intense day! The special stages are kept secret until the day before the event so as to preserve the trails as much as possible. Participants will be riding in exceptional terrain that has never before been used for a mountain bike event!

5pm: welcome at the bivouac area in Bourg-Saint-Maurice, where a bike cleaning and repair workshop will be waiting for participants.

Sunday 8 September 8am:

8am: breakfast, then off to the last 3 stages of the weekend before arriving in the centre of Bourg-Saint-Maurice.

12-2pm: meal, refreshments and prize-giving to round off this exceptional weekend!
