Red Bull Linecatcher

A virgin slope littered with couloirs and rocky outcrops, kickers formed at the heart of the relief and the planet’s greatest freeskiers … that’s the idea of the Red Bull Linecatcher!

The face of Cirque de Fond Blanc at Les Arcs in the French Alps was today the spectacular venue for the 7th edition of the Red Bull Linecatcher. All the ingredients for a classic contest were in place: plenty of snow, a beautiful blue sky with sun, the world’s best freeskiers and some very, very impressive freeski backcountry !

On the podium of this great contest:

1. Nicolas Vuignier, who has won his first big win
2.  Laurent De Martin, youngest skier of the competition and last minute guest.
3.  Flo Bastien
4.  Leo Taillefer.

The 7th running of the event will take place again at an altitude of 2500m in the legendary Fond Blanc circus between Arc 1800 and Arc 2000, THE ideal venue for backcountry!
Fluidity, commitment, technical skill and style are of course the watchwords for this competition that is as exciting as it is demanding.
