What is an electric bike?

It is a regular pedal bike fitted with a motor. Riders have to pedal to benefit from electrical assistance. The motor is powered by a battery which must be recharged regularly. The appeal of the electric bike is in covering long distances without tiring. The assistance can be switched off to travel a little further.

There are 5 routes, 4 of which start from the station in Bourg Saint Maurice. An opportunity to explore our delightful mountain villages using paths and routes specially designed for electric bikes.

Cet été, choisissez le vélo à assistance électrique (VAE) pour découvrir, avec peu d'effort, la vallée de Tarentaise. Sur des chemins faciles et balisés, vous avez la promesse de profiter des plus beaux paysages et des pépites de notre territoire.

Descriptif

"Un bel itinéraire pour découvrir les villages et les savoir-faire de Haute Tarentaise.
La première partie vous fera longer l'Isère par une jolie route forestière ombragée, très agréable et en légère montée. Arrivés à Sainte-Foy-Tarentaise, vous basculerez sur le versant d'en face pour traverser les hameaux remarquables de La Masure et Le Miroir. La suite du parcours vous séduira en alternant moyenne route et chemins un peu plus techniques en sous bois, entre les hameaux de Montvalezan et Séez. "

Vous rencontrerez peut-être des chiens de protection des troupeaux. Descendez du vélo et marchez à côté.Contournez le troupeau et éloignez-vous progressivement et calmement.
