The walking and cycling path

A family outing along the water's edge. This tree-lined cycle path links Aime to Villaroger via Bourg Saint Maurice.

Completely safe and separate from the road, it stretches for 24 km along the Isère, between nature and forest, with the option of taking a break at the pleasant Gothard lake or watching the paragliders from a distance at the Ilettes landing zone. There are plenty of picnic tables along the way. 

Designed with families in mind, the voie verte is accessible to everyone: pedestrians, cyclists, rollerbladers, pushchairs and scooters. The gradient is fairly gentle.

The route winds through the Parc des Marais in Bourg-Saint Maurice. Children will love watching the cows grazing in the off-season, or the first ducklings coming out in spring. There's also a play area with slides and swings, and direct access to the Pump Track. 

The route continues as far as Villaroger, passing through the commune of Séez.
