Walking alone is a chance to dream and admire the scenery while enjoying the silence offered by wide open spaces.
Walking in a group becomes a moment for sharing and conversation. You can be accompanied by professionals who will be there to offer advice and show you our area and its hidden treasures.
When choosing the route which suits you best, you must take account of the weather, your physical fitness and, of course, your wishes. Take the time to gather information to discover all the opportunities on offer to you.
The free walking map will show you the routes in the les Arcs, Peisey-Vallandry, Villaroger and Bourg Saint Maurice sector. Also available to you is an IGN (UK= Ordonnance Survey) 1/35th scale map with more than de 60 marked routes on the les Arcs-Bourg Saint Maurice slope and the versant du Soleil. Wooden footbridge located under the funicular, head for Courbaton. Park at the entrance to the village on the first hairpin.
Moderately difficult walk, sometimes with
progressive ascent, paths not too narrow.

You can also find yellow rectangles painted on stones or ponds.
1/ From the Arc 1600 tourist office, head towards the funicular to pass under the rails, then take the bridge to go to the village of Courbation.
2/ Take the direction of Orgière (yellow markings on the ground), you will see the Granges chapel.
3/ Cross the field at the edge of the forest.
4/ Cross the D119, take the path on the right near a house. The path is not very marked until the junction. Continue towards the Montrigon funicular station, cross the village towards the Chapel.
5/ Take the path on the left then cross the road before going down towards the Chapel of Notre Dame de Tout Pouvoir. Continue straight towards the bridge then turn right towards the funicular car park.
