Welcome! In 2025, the municipality of Bourg Saint Maurice – Les Arcs decided to showcase its Le Parc des Marais.

This site, once a vast marshland, was regularly subject to flooding from mountain streams and the Isère river. In the 1950s, a water reservoir was created here for hydropower production.

Today, the park is a haven of nature where walkers, joggers, children and even migratory birds cross paths in a soothing atmosphere. It’s a space accessible to all, whether you’re into sport or seeking tranquility.

Here, we breathe, we stroll, we play and we observe. Here, we protect rich and diverse nature: water, insects, birds, trees…
